Brightness

Never noticed this on the old one but:

In the cold weather (around 0 to 3C) when I start out, the SatNav screen is fairly dim, almost night mode. After about 15 mins when the inside has warmed up the SatNav brightens up to it's normal level.

Doesn't like the cold.

have not got the sat nav model but noticed the same with the trip computer when the temps are below freezing, screen is dimmer and takes longer to flick through its functions when you hit the button. Is normal tho

yeh i've noticed this with the computer....i think its because the comp has a liquid crystal display (LCD) and therefore it almost freezes the liquid when its cold....mines also moves a lot slower when i want to switch screens on the comp (i.e. press the 'i' button) when its really cold
