Honda hft

RIGHT EVERYONE NEED SOMEONES BRAINS TO SORT THIS OUT.

HAD THE DREADED FLAT BATTERY A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO SO REPLACED WITH A NEW BATTERY.

PROBLEM I HAVE NOW IS TRYING TO PAIR MY PHONE (NOKIA 5800) WITH THE HONDA HFT.
IT WAS WORKING PERFECTLY BEFORE THE BATTERY CHANGE AND NOW WHEN I TALK TO THE CAR IT DOES SOMETHING OPPOSITE AND NOT ABLE TO RECONGISE VOICE COMMANDS PROPERLY.
ANY IDEAS HOW TO RESET

Doing what the instructions say doesn't help us help you that much, not sure you're in the correct menu, etc.

If you're in the correct menu of phone setup, and attempting to delete, or pair the phone whilst stationary, etc then my only suggestion would be to try and talk louder

If that doesn't work the last options would be can you get into system settings and reset? from the top of my head thats 'system setup', and 'clear'

If nothing at all is working then it really can't be the battery and it'll need to be looked at i guess

Can you confirm which button you are pressing?

Also, this may help? Honda Handsfree

Cheers,

Bob...

You are pressing the wrong button. Press the one on the front of the steering wheel with the telephone on it not the one on the rear of the steering wheel.
