Shorted Compact navigation base :(

I accidentally shorted the two pins of the honda compact navigation base.
as seen here:

(the bottom section where the 1 is pointing to)

And now i don't have power coming from the two pins. Is it still possible to fix this on my own, or do i need to have to buy a new navigation base?

And can anybody measure the voltage coming from the base and define which sides is + and - ?

Help is very much appreciated

chances are you've blown the fuse, so you need to find out which one it is and check it.

I checked the fuses as described in the manual. all are good. Is there a other possibilty of what is wrong, or is there a different location for the fuse of the navigation base?
