Want to add sat nav to my Type R

Hi guys. Ive got an 07 Type R which I love. I now wanna add satnav to it but wanna know the best/easiest/cheapest way of going about it is.

Am watching a sat nav with all the accessories on ebay and wanna find someone from the north west area who'll fit it all for me?

No way am gonna attempt it myself

Buy a tomtom.

Will cost a fortune, and requires loads of other stuff aswell for a sweet fit

It can be done but, as mentioned, it is a huge job. If you don't intend to install it yourself the labour costs will make it very expensive.

Thats a bit of a kick in the ****! Was hoping i'd find a local Honda specialist/auto electrician who'd do it no problem. Ive got a tom tom but would much rather prefer an 'in-house' system.

sat nav

Hi Mike, will cost to get this installed I have been down this road. Why not get Tom Tom or as I have Garmin hard wired, you get best of both worlds. You can use in car or out and fit to dash where factory fitted system would have been.

Must admit that T Grade system looks far better than the old style one! Any idea were I could get hold of one apart from Honda for obvious reasons lol

Yeah its a thought I guess. I have a TomTom One V2 (which is ok but nothing special) How hard a job is it to have it hard wired in as im crap with wiring etc. I'd need a professional to do it. Think what i'd ideally like is gonna be way to expensive!
