Radio/Clock display turns off during daytime

Hi,

I have 2006 Honda Civic and from the past few days, Radio/Clock display is behaving strangely.

When I drive during a daytime, the display turns off, but the radio is working fine.

As soon as I drive in tunnel or during night, the display turns on.

It seems like light sensitivity settings needs to be changed??? How to do it?

have you adjusted the little dial to the upper left of the steering wheel? The one that adjusts the brightness of everything, push in and turn to the right if my mind serves me right?

When I've disconnected the battery, everything goes on dim mode, until I adjust it to full again

As above, Check your brigtness settings - It's possible the display is being obscured by the ambinet light levels of daytime. Check that it's up to max brightness, and see if shading the display allows you to make it out.
