Reverse camera added :-)

Finaly fitted a reverse camera, easy job, like anything else, fiddly though !!

works a treat.

Wired to the reverse light for camera power at the moment but later on will wire the camera to a constant 12v with ignition on.
Also need to remove the tailgate trim to hide a few wires as this was a trial fitting to see if the camera worked.

TBH was only a cheap one of Amazon, works a lot better than expected, only about 10 for it.

Mine too! I am wondering about the design of it as I want to make mine less visible! And yours is mega stealth!

How do you get it connected up to the Din Unit / Infotainment?

[Quote of preceding post removed. See HERE]

Yellow RCA lead from camera to input on headunit (routed through headlining and door seal)
Purple/white wire from headunit harness to reverse connecter on fusebox option plug
Black off camera to earth (bolt on tailgate)
Red off camera to reverse light positive wire (this i will change to live with ignition so rear camera can be viewed anytime rather than only from reverse)

The dash bit is the easy bit. Do it. You won't regret it.

Mine is a factory sat nav. Cable from eBay or there are some guys on civinfo, plug cable into back of sat nav and route the cables. No need to drill. Pm me if you want more detail. It is still fresh as I only just did it.
