Window lock switch

Just noticed tonight as i was driving home from the Trafford centre that my window lock switch on the driver side door panel isn't iluminated but all other switches are, could someone confirm whether this is as it should be or do I have a minor fault?

Thanks in advance

Gonna jump on this thread about the same subject...ish

If you hold your hand over these switches (while driving) I get a draught, does anyone else get that?
