Instrument Bulbs

Hi

The instrument bulbs of my 8gen civic have blown

They the small ones and I would like to buy some replacements

Can't see exact same only found led.

Can anyone help me out

I don't think they're bulbs like the cars of yesteryear.

Remember hearing or seeing that they're SMD based LEDs.
Replacing them is not easy, you need to desolder the old one, clean the site for the new one and install the new one and maybe replace a resistor

Hey greyfox

I meant the lights for the fan controls

They are grain of wheat bulbs but not sure where I can buy them from

I'm trying to get good quality

Any help ?

SMD LED bulbs come in many shapes and sizes.
Here is a typical chart for sizes.
To get an understanding of the sizes just a decimal place after the first number and the third number
Eg Metric SMD6332 is 6.3mm long by 3.2mm wide.
So that metric 0402 is going to be 0.4mm long by 0.2mm wide.

Don't think he wants LEDs.

Otherwise I would've posted ebay links.

Plus with LED it is a pain to get the right color and make things match.
But the OP may not have the same OCD as some of us here.

You need to measure to make sure.

But the type of bulb are Neo-Wedge

They range in sizes from T3-T6

You can change the bulbs out. Search grain of rice or grain of wheat. Plenty out there.
