will a 3Dr dash fit a 5Dr car ?

Essentially I am looking to retro fit a sat nav into a 5dr es and am wondering if the dash from a 3Dr will fit? The part numbers and diagrams on lings look the same... Any help appreciated cheers

They ARE interchangeable - but - you're looking a large bill for parts alone, and a very large amount of labour ...

If you want the full functionality that the SatNav unit has, then it's new steering wheel as well, plus HFT microphone \ wiring loom \ etc. ...

You'ld probably be better off, trading your Civic in for a model that does have OEM SatNav ! ...

As JDR said... will take a great amount of money and time.

I think one guy here on Civinfo started doing it, unfortunately I think he died of old age before he finished.
