Type S GT Diesel (09) Hardwiring Dashcam

Hi, If anyone out there has done this, or has the know how can you just double check my planning

I have purchased the following to fit my dashcam

1x Piggy Back Fuse Tap Micro-Mini Low Profile Blade Holder ATM 12V (+ 5amp FUSE)
1x Nextbase Hard Wire Kit

I plan on using the cig lighter fuse which I believe is 29

I am grounding it to the screw recommended in the guide.

anything else I need to consider?

Thanks

Perform a search here as there are hundreds of posts about this.

A good search term will be 'Option Connector' or even just 'Dashcam'

Sound OK to me. If you have a guide as intimated, just follow it.
If you are not sure about it, then get someone who is confident/competent to do it for you.

Having said that and with just a pos and neg connection, what could possibly go wrong?

Connect to a circuit that doesn't behave as expected, especially on stop/start vehicles, as posted frequently on DashCamTalk where the dashcam goes stop/start/stop
