Dash board Temp display

I have a Honda Civic 2.2 CTDI 2007 (UK) Diesel.

The temp display is telling me its - 7c and never goes above 0c.

Its not that cold here, any idea what it could be?

Faulty sensor?

If so where is it located and is it easy to change?

Sensor may be kaput, or may just need a gentle clean to see if it helps at all.

IIRC it is under the crash beam on the drivers side.

You may have to remove the bumper to get to it though, although some people say it can be with just the grill off.

You should be able to access the temp sensor by releasing the clips under the bumper to the undertray. If you don't have an undertray then it'll be easier still.

It's worth checking the sensor wiring connector, the contacts may be corroded and need a clean?
