Folding Mirrors fault

Hi,

I finally collected my new Civic (2006 2.2 iCDTI EX), and while giving it a thorough clean and test at the weekend, I noticed that the passenger side folding mirror doesn't function properly.

I've had a bit of a search, and I can't find any reports of issues, so I'm wondering if anyone has had similar, and how it was fixed? I'm not yet sure if its covered under my limited warranty .

Jim

Yeah, but not bought the car from Honda. I think I got a very good deal buying this one off my company's lease scheme. I paid 9k for an '06 EX 2.2 iCDTI with 35K on the clock... I guess its only a good deal if everything works!

I had a problem with my auto wing mirrors in that they didnt fold in. I thought maybe a fuse had blown but it turned out to be a broken wire.
I had mine repaired under warranty so have no idea how much it cost.

Mine also fails to move, dealer says the motor is broken.
At first the mirror was moving noticeable slower than the other one during folding. Then It needed a small push to complete it and now I can't even move it all using substantial force as I'm afraid I could broke it.
Anyway I'm going to replace it in two days. Also no warranty here
I made a deal with the dealer to replace it for 200 Euro.
