Coolant Temperature

Hi all, were does the coolant temperature sensor sit on your Civic?

I have a 2008 1.8ES and the needle sits at about 3/8ths of the way round the gauge........about 30 degrees below horizontal.

Doesnt matter whether I'm stuck in trafic or on the motorway.

Is this the norm?

Thanks in advance
