Honda Green Key light on the dashboard

Honestly speaking I'm totally a novice and am lost. I wasn't myself when this light on. This key light comes on after I changed the gear actuator and the gear assy. I cleared the freeze errors as directed by one of my boss (@automobilklub ) and the car crank but won't start. My questions are as follows.

1. Can the green key on the screen stop the car from starting?

2. What does it require to fix the green key light?

Please don't get tired of my questions. I also want to learn.

I would be appreciate your quick response and positive reply.

Thanks

It looks to me like the key needs reprogramming. I've heard if you leave keys in ignition and connect or disconnect the battery it can wipe the keys. Not saying this is what's happened but possible.
