Glove box removal (whats pulling on it?)

Hi

How do you get the glove box out on a MK8? Ive removed the trim, centre console etc and it slides out a bit but is pulled back into its hole by, im assuming, a wire. However i cannot find what is pulling it back in

please help

Thanks

Chris

The Electronic's section is an interesting choice for a glove box query...

There is a single hex bolt right on the back of the glovebox on an arm, that arm is what is currently springing.

Need to get to the back of the glovebox and take it off to free it or just give it a good tug if you don't intend on putting it back in.
