Cable throttle conversion

Hi there everybody! I'm writing this for a friend who is doing a K20 swap into his Lotus Elise witha K20Z4 (euro FN2 ctr) and the big issue is the drive-by-wire nonsense. His Elise does not have drive by wire, and it would be a lot better to have cable instead.

So the simple question is, how do we go about converting to cable throttle on this engine??
It's gotta be doable since there are Itb's out there for the fn2....

Any help mightily appreciated!!

I'm planning to buy an Elise and do this in the next couple of years, there are several companies about that do conversions so start with them:

Stark automotive
Tokachi Conversion (Honda K20)
Lotus - Maidstone Sports Cars

The last one is not far from me so I'll probably use them when my time comes. There are plenty of forums about that have information on though.

I fancy the idea of doing it myself but it seems pretty hard so will leave it to the pro's!
