flat battery x 2 type s gt 1.8

Hi guys

I have Typs S GT 2007 1.8 Petrol early Nov. (so out of warranty)

The battery went dead just less under less month ago, I think it could have been the wipers left on AUTO, so since then I've been extra careful to make sure nothing is on AUTO etc (after reading some threads on here)

Yet this morning it was pretty much flat, I tried staring it but after a couple or so tries it went completely flat...

The odd thing is unlike last time I was able to unlock the car via my key fob but as soon as I pressed START *ALL* the lights on the dashboard would flash.

It was service around 4 weeks ago, battery checked out ok, it was also ok'ed by the AA.

The only possible thing I can think of is one of my wing mirrors is slower than the other, is it possible it keeps trying to close even after I shut everything down...(I do wait the extra second or so before it finally shuts).

Should I take it to my local mechanic, buy a emergency started kit? Is there something I can use to check if the battery is being drained?

thank you

Yeah... the window on top of the Varta battery with the big glowing green light ?
If its flat it wont glow green

Other than that you can get testune kits from Halfrauds.
They'll check starter, alternator, battery etc.

Might be your Alterator, Do normally charge the battery when you on the move but if the Alternator fail, you get a dead battery. Happened to me on my previous car.

I believe civics made in 2007 were recalled for MICU fusebox fix. Was this fixed on your car ?
