Leaving your ipod out in the cold
as its getting colder and colder now, -4°C in Yorkshire last night, I got to thinking about weather leaving my ipod in the car can damage it...
I've checked out the apple website and it says:
Operating temperature: 32° to 95° F (0° to 35° C)
Nonoperating temperature: -4° to 113° F
(-20° to 45° C)
Relative humidity: 5% to 95% noncondensing
Maximum operating altitude: 10,000 feet (3000 m),
I don't think we'll see -20°C but if I start the car when its between -20° and 0°C with the ipod is connected it will exceed its operating temperature limits.
Has anyone just left their ipod in the car, not considered the temperature but experienced no problems?
I'm just wanting an excuse to be lazy and just leave it in the car all the time.
Just realised I've posted this in 'electronics' rather than 'ICE' like a t*t. I've reposted there...
