Exclamation Grounding/earthing kit for FK2 (2.2 i-ctdi)

Hi guys, this summer I gave the engine bay a bit of paint (gold).. But I'm still looking to do some more cosmetic mods...

So I was thinking of installing a grounding/earthing kit...

I found some links on the forum:
And even a DIY from the RX8 club...
DIY: Make your own engine grounding kit. - RX8Club.com

I've been looking around the net, there is a kit available for the FN2; but I can't find anything for the 2.2 diesel...

If I'm right (and according to the DIY), I could make my own grounding kit, just using audio cables, right? But (and this is actually the main question), where do I have to connect the cables; which are the earthing points I need to use?

A picture of Loxy's blue earthing kit in his FN2... Looks the dogs danglies!!

Earthing/grounding and shielding is a very tricky business. In theory here are some rules of thumb that you better stick to, but in real life there is no reasonable explanation for things that may occur. I've done lots of earting/grounding/shielding jobs in the past in (musical intrument-) amps, guitars, cars (for ICE installs mainly),... In some cases, some ground connections needed to be cut for best results, in some cases I needed to make ground loops (which should normally be avoided) to avoid hum and buzz, etc.

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but surely everything that needs to be grounded will already be done from the manufacturer.

Judging by the electrical behaviour of some civics.... not all of them, not properly
