Dual Zone Climate Broke!

Hi all,

I recently had a small accident in my 06 ctdi civic (smashed the front wing, drivers door, rear door and smashed the wing mirror off) this took out all the on board electronics.
Its all been repaired except the dual zone climate, it works as a single zone, but refuses to work the zone seperatly.
My insurance are saying it didnt happen because of the accident and it wear and tear on the switch, i have had the module off, checked the switch and it works properly.
When i press the pass. control the numbers flicker and but refused to change to different from the drivers one.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be the issue, it shows 88 on teh displays when the diag is done.

I am arguing with insurance, but if they totally refuse where should i start in terms of parts, i have been quoted 900 quid plus for the module unit, but i have a feeling that it is fine, more likely it cant see a sensor or something.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Regards....One Desperate Civic Owner!!!

Was the car repaired through a Honda Dealership ??
or one that the insurance company wanted you to use.
