Auto wipers too sensitive

My wipers are set on the lowest sensitivity but have moments where they go crazy, although its hardly raining!
Anyone else experience this?

No, but could it be that the windscreen around the sensor needs cleaning?

Thanks for the reply. Is the sensor at the top or bottom of the windscreen? :s

Its at the top, in a module behind the rear view mirror. Sometimes the auto function can act crazy/have a senior moment from time to time and usually just turning off the wipers and back on can cure this. If this isn't the case it sounds like there's an issue with the sensor.

Lots of us are experiencing it. On the minimum intermittent setting the wipers go at double speed? Then they don't self park properly? Have a look around the forum, the sensors within your wiper motor are faulty, if still in warranty get it booked in, if not be prepared for a bill of about 300.

My wipers park ok, they just behave as though they're on crack or something. Hey, its only drizzle not a monsoon!
