Urgent help required! Drivers door won't unlock.

Hi
My drivers door won't unlock using the remote on the key or by pressing the button on the inside. I have noticed that the interior lights don't come on either. I am having to climb in through the passenger side which is a nightmare and makes me look like a tool. Especially at asda!! Any one else had anything similar happen to to there's? Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers

Lol
All sorted now. I took the door card off and moved the locking cable in and out a few times then it stared working again. Cheers for the help.
