Garage door opener install

I know not strictly a Civic install, but tbh it's pretty straight forward install on any car...

A soldered connection beween the two points on the remote, and a small switch and bang inbuilt garage door opener, I hit my box under the dash but you could hide it behind the cubby box

Now instead of fumbling for a fob, just press a button on your dash Smart

LOL yes it's an easy install if you have a remote to butcher, you need to look for the button, mine had 4 wires which through deduction I found the two which created a circuit to operate the device, so I soldered the wires to these 2, then soldered the momentary button, and et voila, just run the button to wherever you want it, done shimples Next job I'm contemlating is making the centre console a fridge...

When I saw this thread, I thought you'd be discussing the alternative 'garage door opener' ahem
