Folding wing mirrors not working

My Civic is going in nextweek to get the folding wing mirrors sorted, neither one of them work but dealer is going to order 2 new ones to fit. I would have thought that it is something else if both mirrors dont move?

Just wondered if there is anything easy to check to confirm the fault?

Mine needs to go back to the dealers at some point.
The nearside one is fine, but the drivers mirror needs a little erm...persuasion to fold up.
I want to get it sorted under warranty so I can buy me one of those clever auto-foldy things I've seen on here

http://www.civinfo.com/forum/members/mrbozo.html is selling an add on module which is fitted into the door card which means that your mirrors fold up when you blip lock the car.
The switch inside then becomes a manual override in case you need to fold the mirrors in whilst driving
