hard wiring in a sat nav

I would quite like to get my tomtom hard wired into my civic, with the preferred position being in the centre of the dash pretty much where a factory fitted honda sat nav would be.

I'm wondering how difficult it would be to ensure that most of the wiring was hidden away given this position? Could it be run down the back of the dash from here?

Not difficult... In fact the triangular piece of trim on top of the radio pops off, so you could drill a hole or 2 in that and run the cables inside the dash... The trim is only 16 ish from Honda so when you sell you can remove the drilled/modded one

Sounds good, is the electrics side of things quite straightforward when you get into the dash?
