You can't turn it off, if you have set a destination and didn't reach it.Delete the current destination via the menu, or mute the voice of the girl under the dash.

Built in sat nav?
Press the back button (the curly arrow)
Then select 'stop guidance' then choose 'yes'

Im sure you use the back button to get to that, not near the car at the moment

Use the Return button (center console the one with the arrow) and select the first option (Stop Guidance).
In the steering wheel there are the same Return button.

It may stop the guidance, but on mine, it would pick up the unfinished destination the next time I drove the car, until I deleted it.?

I owned the Civic for 3 years and I didn't know that Bog.
I am usually the one one here, who posts :-" read the Manual".
One of the members, went to the effort of typing and posting all of the voice commands in list form, for printing out and keeping in the glove box.
It's on here somewhere.

I had this problem, too.
The "charming lady" in my nav just wouldnīt stop talking to me, until I reached a chosen destination.

After many tries in vain, I found out, I had to say "Cancel".
Then I saw a menu where I had to say "Stop guidance" or "One",
because that was the first command in this menu.

Then, finally, there was celestial peace.

The only problem left is, I canīt stop her talking while in a phone call via HFT.
At least, I donīt know how, so far.
Ok, that wouldnīt make sense, anyway, I guess.
If you stop the guidance while in a call you might miss a turning or so.

If you press 'Back' on the steering wheel (not the HFT 'Back', the voice control one) that shuts her up mid sentence. Not sure whether it'll work whilst on a call though. Worth a shot
