Question changing my 2002 Civic MICU

Dear All,

I need to change my 2002 Honda civic MICU since I have many problems in it. My question is: Do I need to get my MICU based on my car's VIN or I can get any MICU for the same car model?? please avdice.
Note: I am getting a used MICU.
