updating radio firmware - same process as sat nav?

hi all i've searched throughout the wiki and faq but can't find the answer to how I go about updating the radio firmware which ive recently found is out of date. I have a sat nav so is it a case of getting a disc from a honda dealer? do I have to pay?

thanks in advance

From what I've read I think they just put a CD into the head unit (not the satnav DVD unit).

Dunno whether they'll charge you or not.

Are you having problems with your radio though? Does it actually need updating?

Mmmm - I didn't know this could be done ! - definitely on my "to do" list, as my radio reception is unpredictable at times ...

Ah right. That's a common problem on the earlier Civics.

Yeah, just pop into the dealers, they shouldn't charge you I hope.
