EX OEM Reverse sensor gone quiet

So i was reversing the other day when all of a sudden the reverse beeper went quiet. It was like someone had turned the volume down by half.
Any ideas guys and gals?

I've searched the forum but most refer to the beeper being in the boot. This one is under the dash somewhere around the fuse box/pedals.

Its a 5 door 2008 EX.

Hi mate,

Did you ever find a solution for this?

I've got the same problem.

No mate i'm afraid i didn't.
I just got used to it and learnt to turn the radio down before i put it in reverse.

Quite strange really.
