Question Manual to Powered Mirrors

Hi guys,

I have been searching the forum for a while now and can't find an answer.

I have a 2.2 Sport (56) without powered folding wing mirrors.

Does anyone know what I need to do/install to go from manual to power folding mirrors?

Thanks

Just guessing here but:

Wing mirror unit with motor,
Switch,
Fuse,
Wiring looms (if not pre-installed on the car as standard)

Will be a lot of work mate. Is it really worth it?

As before ...

Plus, the driver's door handle, that has the spaces for switches for mirror folding and adjustment from inside the car ...

I believe it's been done in here - not necessarily that expensive, dependent on where \ how you source the parts, but quite a lot of 'fiddly' work ...

Hmmm just another reason I wish I had hung on, saved a touch more and waited to buy a higher spec than the sport...

I love it but I get toy envy! Especially when I have to fold my mirrors in when parking outside the house...

Thanks for the replies, I will keep searching for a how to!
