I was fiddling around with the neg battery connector yesterday to fit the tagged Ctek MSX7.0 charger lead. Now the car won't start.
What I was doing
Connecting the spade ended connector to the battery for my CTEK charger
What I did
Disconnected the battery neg.
Undid the bolt holding the big earth cable from battery to chassis
Connected charger cable neg lead
Reconnected battery neg.
Car won't start
Immobiliser light flashing every 1/sec
Interior lights come on
Single Chime (Not noticed this before)
Start Button flashing white
Display info panel shows Clutch and Brake pedals with up arrows under and the Start Button in white
with a wide red underline, which implies to me, press the clutch and brake pedals and hit the start button?
Press Clutch and Brake then press Start
Engine turns over briskly for a few seconds but fails to start.
Then, alternately on info area
VSA indicator with something that looks like a hourglass (not in book) to the right of it > Start button with a circle with a line from top to centre to the right of the button symbol.
The Immobiliser light is flashing
Clutch, Brake and Start button on info panel in white.
Start button not flashing
Get out and lock car
Immobiliser light flashes every 1/sec
Clutch, Brake and start button in white stay displayed for 10 - 20seconds
As a matter of interest, the My Honda app says that the tyre pressures are suspect.
Have contacted Honda dealer and he is going to phone me back sometime today? But just wondered if there a quick reset procedure for the electronic gubbins which is pretty obviously borked?

It may not be important to unlock the car using the key fob button, but unlock it that way anyway.
