External CD crive

Anyone know if plugging in an external CD drive into the USB socket will let you play CD's?

Only asking as going to a festival in Netherlands next month and usually end up buying a load of CD's there, would be nice to listen to them on the way home

Garage
The days of optical media are behind us.

Exact Audio Copy (EAC) is a great free CD ripping application:

Download Exact Audio Copy

You can copy your CDs to MP3 for use via a USB drive (or your phone) in the car, or if you want a completely lossless copy - FLAC. I don't believe the Honda system can play FLAC files though.

However, as said above a cheap Bluetooth CD player may be your best option for the trip home from the festival.
