Multiple Electrical faults out of nowhere.
So, annoyingly, out of the blue, my civic is having electrical issues.
The car has been fine since the day i drove it off the forecourt, I've been away numerous times, and left it parked up, at most, for a week and a half, undriven, and its been fine.
Until this week.
I went to Iceland for 4 days, left the car at home on the drive.
Came back, and drove up to Manchester ( From Luton)
On the way, first thing to die, was the Millimeter Wave radar, it stopped detecting vehicles in front of me, with the ACC on, it would accelerate towards everything.
Then the Tyre Pressure Monitoring died, it kept coming up with the low Px warning, pulled over in the services, all tyres fine, all at 31psi.
Set off, Radar started working again for a short while...TPMS came up again, one or more tyres low...pulled into the next services, tyres still fine.
Reset it again, continued the journey.
Further into the drive, all the sensors and cameras dropped out.
No cruise control, No collision mitigation, no lane keep assist or lane departure warning, and everything else associated with the sensors died.
Pulled into the next services (by this time i was close to finishing my journey, but wanted to reset the car)
Came out of Knutsford services, all was fine for the remaining 20 miles.
Following day, the audio/navigation display, kept flashing on and off, and it froze completely, didnt respond to touch, had to pull over and turn the car on and off, it took a while to reboot, but has been fine since.
Now the ignition is being funny.
My car used to start up almost instantaneous when turning the key, now it kicks over once or twice before finally igniting.
This has all came, all of a sudden, after being parked for 4 days.
Anyone else had anything similar?
Will be ringing the dealer tomorrow.
