Alarm disabling button

Anyone find that sometimes this seems to turn itself off after a while, thereby re-activating the alarm?

I found in my 8th generate that the trick of holding the door release in on the handle and shutting the door when locking sometimes worked, sometimes didn't.

So I was pleased when there was a button in my 9th generation, meant I could leave the windows open outside at work on hot days.

But sometimes it's fine then the alarm starts going off, even though the alarm disabling button is lit when I locked it.

On another note....does anyone think the Civics alarm is quieter than a lot of others?
