HTC ONE unsupported ??

Hi

Anyone have any idea why, when I plug it in via USB to my 2013 Civic, iMid says the device is "unsupported" please ?

Appreciate I can play music over bluetooth, I am more interested in charging facility.

Thanks

There was a post her about this fairly recently. Something to do with the way it connects and being non standard or using a new technology.

I'll see if I can find it ...............

Got it via somewhere else:

Basically the Civic, via USB is looking for the "USB mass storage" protocol but the newer phones use MTP (Media Transfer Protocol).

Can't find an answer though

Google confirms this. Annoying it doesn't charge though ! Will have to dig out my old in-car charger...

Thanks for your help
