HDD Satnav Update

I got this information today from Honda UK as the dealer didn't know. For those of you with 2012/2013 HDD SatNav systems there is a map update available. Details are 2013 (v1.12) Part number 08A42-1R6-100. It cost 170 plus VAT and has to be done by the dealer as if done incorrectly can damage the unit.

Don't think I'll bother paying that sort of money when I have my iPhone app which updates for nothing.

Totally agree, my almost top of the range Garmin cost that and I get lifetime maps and traffic.

I've said before, if they drop the price to 30 or even 50 tops they would get more bites and still make the same if not more profit.

I will stick with my original as the road network doesn't change that much. I suppose for the 30k+ a year boys who drive for a living it could be worth it.

I do circa 30ka year and certainly can't justify 170. No way will roads change enough in the years I will have the car.

I won't be upgrading either at that price. Ridiculous!
