Does civic boot need dynamat if I was to install a heavy system????

Any surface will resonate, so you could say cover the whole car as the honda does like to rattle when you turn the bass up.
Personally i have a custom boot build that fills the spare wheel well and i havent fiited any and mine sounds really good. Mine is made out of 18mm MDF so that does a pretty good job of keepin the bass where its needed.

wardy sorry to butt in, what have you got installed? im looking for a decent setup which doesn't dismantle my car at the same time, do you have pics? cheers

My effort fella
one kenwood dual voice coil 1200w sub
one kenwood 4channel amp bridged to produce 800w
nice tight punchy bass from a sealed enclosure but enough low down grunt to wobble every window and mirror in the car lol
