Altering sound effect of traffic information

We have a SD navigation system in our Civic (no extra speakers or anything). I have used the equalizer to change the tone of the radio (USB, CD, etc.). I added quite a bit of high and turned the bass down, to make it sound better (in my opinion). But that does not change the sound of the traffic information. That sounds really dull. To much low tones and little high tones. Is there a way to change that too?
