Question Door Mirror not folding in (ES)

Hi, I have a 9 month old 1.6 ES and I just noticed that the passenger side mirror doesn't retract (fold in) when I press the driver side button or hold down the key to lock all the doors, shut the windows etc. Driver side mirror is fine.

Any clues as to why the passenger side doesn't retract apart from a faulty mirror?

John

Faulty SOD (shut off device)

20 odd bob from honda

Or you can get it fixed from Syx (I think) on here for about 6

EDIT: Just seen this is in the 9th gen section. Disregard everything I have just said

Thanks Jack, is the SOD covered by warranty? Is it some sort of electronic part under the bonnet somewhere?

John

Oh, just noticed your edit

Well I know on the 8th gen it was in the mirror unit itself it's a little cube part but I have no idea about the 9th gen... Maybe take it to honda and just ask?

Eco display
It's not a "wearing" part such as a clutch or brake pads so is a warranty fix without a doubt
