How to play and update uk mk 9 civic sat nav & tips and tricks shared

Hi can any body tell me if this can be updated sat nav and if there is a way to play DVD while driving I seen many videos they all us cars or different models
Any help or tips tricks will do which can help others who see this in UK

Didn't you ask the same question earlier?

It's a car not a cinema, have the kids look out of the windows. There's a big wide world out there

Yes you have posted this before.

The answer is, as it was last time:

The maps can only be updated via a VIN coded DVD, unique to one car, that costs circa 170. There is no workaround like there was with the 8G.

With regard to playing DVD's whilst driving, Honda have deliberately locked this feature out as it's unsafe and illegal. The lock is very deep into the software and can't be undone, much like the unit's nag screen and 'OK' requirement.
