Adding Tweeters to an SE

I've seen this somewhere on a forum, but I can't find it again,

I have an SE I-vtec. I'm looking at replacing the speakers.

I've fitted a sony xav-ax100 already, and plan to fit components speakers in the front, and coaxials in the back. As I have an SE there are no tweeters in the front. I'm not to keen on hacking in to the blanking plate though.

I saw somewhere that I can use 8th gen surrounds? has anyone done this? or do I need to scour auction sites for second hand ones from different 9th gens?

Has anyone ever put tweeters in to the rear of their car before?

Garage
Is this a Pre-facelift (I'm guessing?)

My SE+ (Post facelift) has Tweeters in the front, so I'd have thought you could get the insert quite easily.
