Parking sensor.

There is something wierd with my right rear parking sensor.
The car is a Civic executive 9th gen, FK2, 1.8. 2012
Sometimes, even when there is nothing behind the car, the sensor shows that there is something.
There is no sound, just the orange warning.
If i turn the sensors off, then back on again, it goes back to normal.
Does anybody have an idea what can be wrong?

I've found that one some cars, if you put an ear to the sensors you can hear a slight buzzing if they're working correctly.

I've always felt very nervous doing it though - even with the engine turned off!
