head unit had a moment today
came up on screen anti theft warning
since this message popped up all stations are different from what they were stored and if I try make or receive a call it just knocks phone off straight away
any one else had similar

ive done a master reset before to get satnav back in sync
wonder if this would work but cant remember how to do it

Hmm; The theft warning only usually occurs after a complete loss of battery power, but that shouldn't have also tripped a reset though..

May be worth checking the battery, and then doing a quick reset of the HU to ensure software is all square - Consider an update to RC8 whilst you're at it, as it may contain a fix if it's a software issue.

not sure if its had the rc8 update
I was driving while the anti theft warning came on so hard to say it would be total loss of power but maybe a bad connection
stop/start has still been working since so id think battery is ok
any one know what to hold in for reset

think it was power button plus another but cant remember

car is still under warranty so might give dealer a call

Was wondering if that was the case given it's a 2015; In that case, I'd defer to them, but if you can, get some videos of the issue occuring first.

I have android crashing a lot. Mostly bluetooth process or phone. Restart does not help, only restoring default setting, which is not convenient because all settings are gone. Radio stations, phone numbers, tripmeter etc.

If there would be any chance to fit another device while maintaining the Honda stuff I would have bought one already.

Really annoying.
