Repaired import

Are these worth chasing, jm imports have found me a cracking cw with full mugen kit (bonnet, splitters, spoiler) but its listed as repaired.
I know auctions put repaired because it sounds better than class 3 (which isn't worth touching) but this 1 is from a dealership not an auction.
How do they stand with the fd2 owners especially with resale

I was always told that with DC/FD cars to avoid ones with aftermarket wheels and bumpers as these are the most expensive parts to replace.

I guess the main reason is that you are reducing your resale audience with aftermarket kits/wheels

Be like any car Rob, if it's just been new bolt on panels etc then no probs but if there's been panels welded like front panel, rear panel or sills etc then I'd body swerve.

Good shout I forgot about replacement parts, my plan was to buy 1 and kit it up through injection imports and when I seen this 1 already done it would of saved me a few grand, it's absolutely stunning but the word repaired has me doubting it, if it said non repaired I would of have slapped the deposit on it straightaway

I'd try and find out before jumping in.

Then tell them to throw that rear wing in the sea when it's getting shipped.

The shaft sticker one has some very nice suspension . I wouldn't mind taking some bits from both cars lol. Tbh I would stay away from the 40km one as it would be quite hard to resell I think. The 45km one looks good but depends what has been repaired and what JM are asking for it. For both you will probably want to change the head unit as they may only pick up some UK radio stations and the language might be only Japanese. I found out the hard way.

Normally, JM Imports have a man over there so you can ask questions about both cars.

He gave me a list of 20 from dealers all 10 plates & prices ranged from 19-22000 on the rd in the uk, which surprised me as I thought these were prices before fees, the latest fd in auction is an 08 plate. I found a 10 plate yesterday with only 600 miles on the clock & even had the cellophane still on the pedals but this was 22'000 before fee's & taxes, I quickly declined that 1 .
Quite a few purple ones but unsure of purple as a car

By any chance Andy gave you the list? It's all to do with the exchange rates, I know you get more Yen for 1 now so it's a good time to buy. I wanted a purple one but there was none at the time when I ordered and for a 10plate I would be looking at 24k at that time. Go for purple
