Here's Cybil :)

Well we've had Cybil now for 2 weeks and I've just got round to giving her my first clean. Thought I'd post up some pics too as I haven't put any up yet
She's a 1.8 EX petrol 5door 08

There's a few things I want to do,
fit Rick's footwell lights, front and rear
get the black trims colour coded
try and find a type s spoiler 😳
audio bits and bobs-but don't know where to start!
paint alloys gunmetal grey

That's for starters but gotta save some money first.

Am loving the car but there are a few niggles but think I just gotta get used to them

Thanks for looking, Matt

Hi Matt,

A tidy 1.8 EX you have there

If you are looking for Genuine type s then try Cox, though I have no idea if your colour is on type s
Genuine Honda Civic Type-S Boot Spoiler-All Colours-2007-2011 [08F10SMG620*] - 245.00 : Cox Motor Parts Direct - Genuine Honda Brakes Clutches & Accessories

Genuine do come up occassionally on ebay, but obviously already painted. You could find a body shop to do it, but may end up pricer than from Cox
honda civic type s rear spoiler original honda part 06-10 | eBay

May be able to get a none genuine type s GRP replica on ebay, but most are the type r replica. Honda Civic 2006-on Type R Spoiler | eBay

Here is a thread about the colour coding of body trim from the owner of a blueish silver 1.8 EX...uncanny!

http://www.civinfo.com/forum/styling...y-plastic.html

Incidentally, the civic Si features some of the items you list as standard, i.e.
Body coloured trim
Usb connection with iPod fly lead
Dark silver alloys
Type R grille etc

Think what il do with the paint , is wait till I can find a spoiler and get everything done at the same time at a proper body shop

Well my last car was felicity focus so this ones called Cybil civic, don't know why Cybil, it's just the only name we liked beginning with 'C'.
And before anyone pops up who's name begins with 'C', I'm not being nasty 😄

Thanks for all your comments,
Matt
