upgrades? I think I'm going to get some nice bulbs from Aqip here, also looking into HEKO deflectors, considering tinting the rear windows and upgrading the speakers and fitting an amp with a LOC.

Other than that, can't think of any, maybe try and hunt down a type s gear knob and alcantra gaitor.

it's already got BT fitted. Not bothered about changing HU.

Have you any suggestions?

Look forward to seeing what you do to yours.

Got my own 1.8 es last week, fancy putting in new speakers aswell, but just guna stick with fitting my old double din back in and some Heko's until the funds have recovered a bit

I think HEKO's and bulbs are the first port of call for me.

I was looking at HU's but I got the dealer to fit Honda BT for free, so it kinda eliminates the requirement of changing.

I kinda fancy the GP / Image Kit, but still in debate with myself, I think I want to enjoy the car first more than anything though. I learned to drive in a 2.2 cdti (07 plate) so it'll be good to drive one again. I've swapped from a slightly tuned 2002 Mini to this, so it'll be a bit different.

Get a Skunk2 gear knob as it has a nice weight to it, Tinting rear windows looks great on the Civic.

If i didnt already have my double din I wouldn't of been that fussed tbh, but I miss it. Job for tomorrow now I have a day off and all the parts have shown up

Yeah i'd love to do something like fearless's conversion to mine eventually: http://www.civinfo.com/forum/modific...ld-thread.html

But thats a long way down the road
Mods so far: Heko's, footwell lights and the double din to come.

Could soon get into this modding lark haha

That is one nice project.

i think i'd rather change the driving characteristics of the car prior to getting body work mods, ie uprated brakes, suspension (don't know if to stick to changing springs or do whole suspension unit) , induction kit, exhaust. Not sure about a remap, purely because there doesn't seem to be anyone near Glasgow that does them ?

Can anyone reccommend good tyres for the Civic? I've had Avon ZV3's on a Fiesta and Dunlop Sport BluResponse for the Mini, both were awesome.

A bit of an update.

So, back in April, crashed the car, my fault. damage done to passenger side front arch etc. Repaired now.

Unfortunately, this broke the fog light protectors. So they've been removed.

The modding bug has bitten me again, so back on the project.

Today, I'll be fitting bulbs bought from Aquib on here.

I've just bought a CTR grill and K+N from Rajan on here. Waiting delivery of that. Going to try and get a new gel overlay for the front and rear badges from one of the traders on here. Debating on a dark Honda logo or something completely different.

Next up will be tinting windows. Followed by a black sumo sticker across the rear light cluster.

Also trying to find someone in Glasgow who'll fit Fly-Eyes for me.

Then I've got the Type-R springs to fit, along with the purchase of new Tyres ( Goodyear seem to be the choice) and then change the brakes to Pagid ones from eurocar parts I reckon.

I've been quoted 600 to sort out the stereo from a company in Glasgow - all they'd be doing is fitting a LOC, changing front speakers, adding an amp & fitting a sub. Not sure if this is expensive or not.

Next up, I read on here about changing the drop links front and rear to make the car handle a bit nicer, so I'll probably give that a go too.

Still in turmoil over satin wrap or not, it does appeal to me, but I'm still not sure.

It makes me a bit sad though that I can't get a decent remap and stainless exhaust for the car. But such is life.

I'll post pictures up when I can later on today.

Having said all of the above, this is tempting me:

Cheers!

I'd keep the one you've got or wait for a 9G...but thats my opinion. Your car looks great in the Pictures above!
