My Civic GT

Hi Guys,

I have been on the forum for a good couple of months just having a nosy and getting a few ideas but I haven't posted anything as I have been waiting to get my civic gt.
The reason I have been waiting is I bought my car off my dad at very good father son rates but I couldn't have the car until this Friday as he collects his new car this monday.
So I got the keys and having owned it for just two days I must say I really do love it, my dad bought it new and with it only having 42k on the clock its still got plenty of life left in her.
Having owned loads of different cars over the years, corsa vxr, ep3, clio 172 ITB just to name a few this civic yeah is in a different league to those but with me and my partner recently getting own place and planning a wedding it I need something that could saves us money but allow me something to put my own stamp on and the civic ticks all those boxes.
So yesterday I gave the civic a well deserved clean so this meant breaking out the DA and giving her a alittle machining to just bring alittle bit of shine back to her and generally gave her a good clean and I am happy with the results.

Plans are to get it fully colour coded along with a type r spoiler. I want to lower her to, nothing crazy just a subtle drop then a stage 1 map and change the front grill to and thats about it really.

Anyway, a few pics I took after id finished giving her first good clean.

Agree with all the earlier comments, and good job on the clean.

Very tidy motor and VERY low mileage for a 2.2, guessing it's a 2.2 as you mentioned a remap and saving money !

First mod should be a sticker, will add 5-10 bhp !

Welcome to the forum, and let the modding begin.

Thank you very much

Yes she's a 2.2 and credit to my dad to looking after it while he owned it as always services it without fail with good quality products.
Id like to map it just alittle reserved about the clutch handling it.

It would be rude to not have a sticker so will have to sort one out soon.

It will turn your name red, give you additional forum benefits, allow other members to "spot" you, and helps keep the forum going.

Btw, stick the year and model of your car in the "About me" section, helps other members when you're buying and selling, and I guarantee that you'll be looking at that section on a daily basis within a week !

And get yourself along to a local meet, very friendly bunch. Nearest one to you is near Doncaster and called MattFest, on account of the organiser !

Sounds good to me and I will get it sorted and if it helps keep the forum going then that gets a thumbs up from me.

Thanks for the info, I have just updated the "About me" section.

I will have to pop along to a meet, id really like someone with a mapped 2.2 to take me for a spin so I know how they feel mapped up.

Don't go in Messiahs Derv unless you are prepared for an empty bank account but if you do go in it be prepared to be blown away

Sounds like you've done your homework / know your stuff already !

Secret to a happy relationship is to find a partner that's into modding as well. Then you get cool birthday presents like Spoon rigid collar sets !

And you're never stuck for a present for them, just has to have a Mugen / Spoon / Seeker or Feels logo on it.
