The New Car

Picked it up today. 1.8 EX.
Mats and ambient blue lighting, vehicle protection pack and tyre insurance all in as part of the deal.

I've just added a couple of more photo's.

Very nice!

What differences are you finding compared to the 06 car?

Hi Pottsy. The tyre insurance will cover any damage accidental or deliberate for 3 years as long as the tyre is in legal condition. There is a £10 excess on each tyre. Its something else that Honda is offering on new cars.

There are not a lot of differences. The clutch seems to be a lot lighter, steering feels different. The steering wheel adjustment is in a different place. Rear sensors are now standard on the EX. There is more information on the sat nav display, street names etc.. Thats all I've found so far.

Good morning wheelchair. I have every Wednesday off and it would be good to meet with a fellow owner. We'll have to arrange something, you're only up the road from me.

I've just found in the glovebox a second DVD for the sat nav. It's one for eastern Europe. Is this usually sent out with the latest models?

The latest version (3.23 - which you should have) comes on 2 discs.

Congratulations on your purchase. Black is a great color to have (also a member of the NHB group!). I also went for the tyre insurance on my Type R - Got it for £250 - for 18 inchers that are low profile thought it was best to have! Also like the idea that they will repair the alloy too if they get scuffed.

Just a bit of advice - get the Gray fog light covers!
