Think you are right, Type S GT has panoramic glass roof so I would assume it's the same for the R. HOwever I don't think either actually have a GT badge on...

No, no glass roof for the R. As Robbo said.

Maybe it makes the car to weak and gives more roll?

ok.. you just beat me to it... perhaps the lack of glass is a weight issue. I know a number of performane cars suffer from glass roof weight..porsche 911 targa for example

Think it may be to do with weight, not sure but think glass roof would be heavier than the thin metal roof..... God how I cringe when it flexes when waxing the roof.
