My 2.2 EX

Hi guys

Had my car for now about 3 years and running a treat. After some spare time over the week. I gave the motor a good wash and polish.

Love the reflection I managed to get out of the doors.

Felt proud especially driving to work with a shiny motor.

Let me know your thoughts?

As basic wash and dry down using TFR from a friend who works as a valeter.

Then polished with Autoglym Super resin polish. Then felt it could do with extra protection so used the Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection.

However I have noticed the Honda paint is pretty thin and now noticed the boot has slowly bubbled and stripped away. Pressure washer not helped but I'm going to look into getting this looked too before it gets worse.

Its a commuting car with nearly hitting 130k and using Fuelly app I've been averaging a decent 46-48 mpg with a regular service. Its looked after well.

Did wish the arches were sprayed black but hey its a decent car throughout.

The OEM arches are a bit of a let down.

You can use a thing called plasticare on the plastic trims and that'll dye them black! Looks really nice mate, good work!
